Dundee City Council's Educational Development Service is seeking 2 professional freelance designers:
3D Product / Visual Designer
Fashion / Textile Designer
This opportunity is for individuals looking to develop their work whilst being professionally supported in an Education setting.
The successful candidates will work with the following principal contacts:
Education Support Officer
Cultural Co-ordinators
Principal Teachers of Art and Design in 6 secondary schools
Secondary School Pupils
Local Arts Partners
Key Skills:
· demonstrate their ability to work within their specialist area:
· an ability to work with low cost sustainable school materials
· a wide variety of transferable craft and design skills
· the ability to create, develop and deliver relevant CPD with support from Cultural Co-ordinators
· understand and innovate good practice in the curriculum
· advise and develop pupil tutorials
· development of own work
· co-ordinate and exhibit in a project showcase event.
