Kinnaird Kaleidoscope Knitting is a fun art project as part of 1001 Views of Kinnaird Head, within North East Open Studios, September 2009. The project will cover the 185 net drying poles at Kinnaird Head with assorted recycled materials.

Please donate wool. We need your unwanted wool. This should be handed in to The Museum of Scottish Lighthouses.

Groups or individuals wanting to create a pole cover should contact Helen Fowler on 01346 514577. Pole covers should measure 6ft by 2ft; crafty ideas welcome. Contributors will be asked to pay £1 per pole towards costs of the exhibition. Each decorated pole will include a label with the maker’s name.
